From that Bacardi Mojito ad: Kidda - “Under The Sun” (Hervé mix)

Video, Where Have I Heard That Song Before?

While much of the world has been bemoaning the appearance of Matt & Kim’s “Daylight” in a Bacardi ad, us Brits still find our toes getting their tap on to a certain big beat tune which soundtracks a Bacardi Mojito clip:

If you’ve ever wondered what that song is and where you can buy it, get clicky with that “Continue Reading” button.

It’s called “Under The Sun”, and it’s by someone called Kidda. The version that appears in the Bacardi ad may/may not be a mix by Hervé, as found on his barnstorming Ghetto Bass album. But in case it’s not, below you can enjoy both versions and see which you prefer.

This is the original “Under The Sun” by Kidda; you can buy it here, or you can get the album on which it appears - Going Up - here.

That has a few unnecessary weirdy bits in it, so if you’d rather the party animal version that reminds you of Fatboy Slim circa 1997, check it out below. You can buy it here, or you can go the whole hog and get the Hervé album Ghetto Bass - which comes highly recommended by this very portal - here.

And against all the odds I have managed to secure the great man’s services for the launch of my website.

On Friday 26th June @ The Westbury Bar, Kilburn, London; Kidda, alongside breaks monster Baobinga, will be rolling out the summer tunes for the launch of AngelBreaks.co.uk.

    See you front and centre!
