Alanis Morissette is one of those singers who never really seems to be on my radar. I’ll be honest, all I know about her from the last few years is that she was engaged to that Van Wilder guy and appeared in Nip/Tuck.
Music-wise, I don’t think I can remember anything she’s done in recent times, which may mean it was rubbish but is just as likely to mean that in this day and age it’s easy to ignore and avoid acts that don’t mean much to you.
Anyway, her new song is called “Underneath” and it’s actually rather pleasant in an FM pop-rock kind of way. And I may be wrong, but I think that when she winks at the end of the video she looks rather adorable. Judge for yourself after the jump.
