Walter Meego’s Voyager brings the soft-rock electro lovelieness

Music News, Video

walter-meego.gifAn album I’ve been listening to a lot recently is Walter Meego’s Voyager. Walter Meego, slightly confusingly, is not a person but a duo, comprised of Justin Sconza and Colin Yarck.
As Walter Meego they create a pleasing sound by combining electro-pop, soft rock and often rather poignant lyrics. If you like Chromeo, Neon Neon, Cut Copy and the more sensitive moments in Daft Punk’s catalogue, you will probably find something to enjoy in their new album.
The one I’ve had stuck in my head for the last few days has been “Girls”, which you can hear along with several other tracks at their MySpace. Or you can see it done in a slightly more laidback manner over the page. ‘Tis lovely, ’tis.
I’d also recommend hitting their MySpace to check out “Forever” and “Baby Please”.
You can buy Walter Meego’s Voyager at Amazon, amongst other places.
