I feel sorry for my mate Sam. He’s been digging this tune, A Peak In Time by Cut Chemist, for ages. Every time he drives me anywhere, it’s flicking between this and some Ace Rizzle. His car journeys bounce, man! So why do I feel sorry for him? Well, his best kept secret is out… thanks to the new advert for the Fiat 500.
Yep, the unassuming little getaround is soundtracked by some expert cutting, blocking and scratching, mixed with a weird ‘boh’ voice-noise, and some acoustic guitar. Jeez man, if I was the sort of person who said that tunes were ‘phat’, I’d be saying it right now. Chances are, you haven’t paid enough attention to summon this ad outta fresh air and memory, so, if you’d like to join me over the cut, a video lies in wait to explain all.
