Download 2007 reviews - My Chemical Romance hit the bottle again
The reviews from Download have been coming in this week, with Iron Maiden gaining universal acclaim for their festival-closing set. The same can’t be said for poor old my Chemical Romance, who attracted the bottle boys once again. If there was ever any doubt, the treatment of MCR confirms that a chart-topping album doesn’t necessarily equate to rock respect.
The Sun - well-known metal fans, of course - thought Korn should have played the main stage, an opinion probably shared by those who couldn’t get close to the Dime Darrell stage to see them perform. The Guardian and NME both mention hotly-tipped Gallows, whose “visceral assault” went down well before the crowd said hello to the lead singer’s mum over his mobile. Bless.
If you missed Iron Maiden at the festival, and the live feed on the Download website, good news - their performance will eventually be released on DVD.

Hearing that my chemical romance got bottled makes me so upset, they have been my favourite band for 4/5 years now and they have made my life now a life, I now realise because of their music and inspiration that there is more to life.
Why people would bottle a band that are simply creating music to help people is beyond me. So what if Korn wernt on a main stage or whatever, they were still at Download therefore you got to see them live. Just get a life!

I totally agree with you catman. people are pathetic not to mention very stupid to bottle bands at shows.
So Stupid. How dare you bottle my chem? they save lives, unlike other bands, they SING. Bottling is low. Very Low. it shows how today’s society is slowly spiralling downwards. why should my chem be bottled, infact, no band should be bottled. not even the backstreet boys.
