Muxtape hacked by Babybird?!

Music News

muxtape Muxtape hacked by Babybird?!Remember Muxtape? It’s gone down very well with a lot of music fans keen to create playlists to share with their friends/enemies. Well, with web success comes the attention of nefarious types intent on harming your precious brand (honestly, the number of people who’ve tried to break into the Toilet…).
Yesterday it emerged that the site was behaving a leetle strangely - in that it was playing just the one song, whichever track was selected: “Good Disease” by Aim with Stephen Jones, of erstwhile Babybird fame.

Could this be Jones’s way of reminding music fans of his existence? Unlikely. Could it be some shady “viral” marketing practice by people keen to push the song in question? Possibly. Could it be just a big old computer fuck-up at Muxtape HQ? Well, we know what computers are like, don’t we? Little bastards.
At the time of writing Muxtape has been taken down while the Muxtapers investigate wha’ gwan.
