Two Door Cinema Club show that “Something Good Can Work”
Music News, Up-And-Coming Acts, Video
This song is proof not only that Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club make ultra-catchy upbeat guitar pop, but also that good old Steve Lamacq still knows a thing or two about quality music.
Lammo spoke to the band on his 6 Music show on Friday before playing this tune, the hook of which is now firmly snagged in my brainium. I think they were part of the unsigned acts section of the show but they’re definitely on the up-and-up, with a support slot for The Wombats the latest development.
Check out “Something Good Can Work” over the page, and see the band’s live dates an’ ting at their MySpace. I’d just like to assure you that despite the moody black n’white photo up there, this song is in fact a cheery wee tonic to all this FUCKING RAIN.
