Toni Braxton, TLC, Janet Jackson - wham bam, it's "Boner Jams"
With the amount that people tend to moan about the filth and whatnot in modern music, it's easy to forget that - you know what? - there's always been filth in music.
It's also easy to forget that the 90s were a good time for saucy R&B; - and it wasn't just the groin-fixated chaps like Jodeci who liked to pay tribute to le bump et le grind.
The women of 90s rap and R&B; had plenty to contribute to the canon of popsexmania, as The High Definite details in its countdown of - ahem - "Boner Jams".
Coming - arf - straight in at number two - heh heh (?!) - for example is Toni Braxton's "You're Makin' Me High". Now you might think of La Brax as a warbler of fairly lachrymose pap, but forget thee not that said song began with the lyrics:
I'll always think of you
Inside of my private thoughts
I can imagine you
Touching my private parts
Crikes!
