Have you developed a social conscience? Worried about your Carbon footprint? Not sure how to do your bit whilst still having a ruddy good time? Then worry no more, because those lovely people who brought you the Croissant Neuf Summer Party 2007 are coming back for more.
This eco-friendly festival features entirely solar powered stages and showers, organic food stands and more family fun than you could shake a brightly coloured stick at. Plus, with a sports day, poetry slam, lantern procession and masquerade ball there'll be plenty to keep even the most absent of minds occupied.

It's hardly great news, but the modern equivalent of Shed Seven - Hard Fi - have been added to the lineup for Liverpool Music Week, which is being held in various venues in the city during December. They'll play the Aintree Pavillion on Thursday 6 December, with support to be announced.

A wafting breeze of skunk will settle over Swindon this weekend with the arrival of the Sugarhill Festival taking place on Warren Farm.
Fancy joining in with Bill Clinton and making the sign of the devil? Well, sinners are more than welcome at the Damnation Festival which is the UK’s largest indoor metal festival. After selling out its inaugural event in 2005 and last year’s show as well, organisers have decided to change venue and double the capacity.
The force looks strong for the Tidy Weekender, which takes place in Pontins Holiday Park, Prestatyn, Wales, from 5-7 October... although they really should have had it on May 4th shouldn't they? Geddit? No? May the 4th be with you... I'll get me coat.
Those going to Bestival, you're in luck as organisers have announced details of the Rizla Arena, which will feature dance, reggae, dub and ska DJs. Boi! Acts playing the tent will include Terry Hall, Andy Votel, Greg Wilson and the legendary Don Letts. 
Now, for those of you who are going to Leeds or Reading this weekend, I'm sure you've already had a look at the line-up and have decided who you'll be watching. You may have had to toss a coin over the Ash/Razorlight clash (I'd like to toss a grenade at the pair of 'em to be honest), but delve a little deeper and you'll get a lot better than Smashing Pumpkins scowling through Zero.

The End of the Road Festival has today placed a limited allocation of day tickets on sale. Winner of Best New Festival at the 2006 UK Festival Awards, the festival takes place from 14 - 16 September and features a cracking line-up set amidst various enchanting attractions in the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens in North Dorset (I've been... it truly is a gorgeous setting).
When I think of Creamfields, I actually think of fields made out of cream. Obviously, those of you with a brain will know that it's the yearly dance music fest that takes place, this year at least, at Daresbury, Halton, Cheshire on Saturday 25th August... and they have added another stage to the line-up.

+44 (what a terrible band name eh?) have decided that writing their new songs is more important than playing their slots at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals, which take place at the twin sites of Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Are you heading down to Beautiful Days taking place at Escot Park, near Fairmile, Devon from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August? Well, you may have been puzzling over who the headline act is for the Friday... puzzle no more! The announcement had to be held back for 'contractual reasons', and now KT Tunstall is confirmed as headlining the main stage on the Friday night.
Another act has been confirmed for Tennent's Vital, which is taking place this year at the new location of Belfast’s Ormeau Park on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd August.
