Tickets for Wakestock 2008 go on sale Friday 29th February

blenheim.gifOr, if you're reading this on the 28th February - TOMORROW. This year's Wakestock (sponsored by Relentless energy drink), which offers musical delights as well as plenty of opportunities to watch people attached to string flying through the air, will take place at two locations. First there's the Oxfordshire leg, which will take place in the salubrious setting of Blenheim Palace (left), don'tcha know. Apparently this is the first time a contemporary music festival's been held in these esteemed grounds, so BE GRATEFUL.

Then you have the North Wales leg, held between 4th and 6th July in Abersoch, which is on the coast and will therefore allow you to live like that beach bum you always wanted to be, for a few days at least.

Click through for line-up news and how to get tickets.

Festivals round up – the weather rains on everyone’s parade

fesitval%20rain.jpg

You may have noticed a teeny tiny bit of rain across the UK this weekend. And BOY did it affect the festivals!

- The Glade Festival was one of the first to be badly hit by this weekend’s apocalyptical storms. With the Overkill Stage under nearly 2 feet of water and tents being washed away, organisers were forced to stop letting ticket holders in and many frustrated fans headed home without setting foot on site.

Tangerine Fields provide pre-pitched tents for lazy festivalgoers - bookings still available for T in the Park, Latitude, Carling Weekend

If you got to Glastonbury on the Thursday full of smug happiness you'd bagged a bargain on your tent, and left on Monday a soaked-though, mud-coated, cursing mess, then you'll think Tangerine Fields is a great idea.

They're a tent company who'll rock up early to your chosen festival, pitch your tent and it'll be all warm* and cosy* by the time you arrive.

*inside, at least. They're not magicians.
