Tangerine Fields provide pre-pitched tents for lazy festivalgoers - bookings still available for T in the Park, Latitude, Carling Weekend

If you got to Glastonbury on the Thursday full of smug happiness you'd bagged a bargain on your tent, and left on Monday a soaked-though, mud-coated, cursing mess, then you'll think Tangerine Fields is a great idea.
They're a tent company who'll rock up early to your chosen festival, pitch your tent and it'll be all warm* and cosy* by the time you arrive.
*inside, at least. They're not magicians.
"Pah, how lazy are the people who use that?" I hear you cry. "It takes all the fun out of camping." Er, does it? Losing a tent peg, and then having your £10 tent collapse on you in the pouring rain at 4am is 'all part of the festival experience', but wait ... the Tangerine Fields people are pitched in their own special area, with THEIR OWN TOILETS AND SHOWERS - at least at the Reading, Leeds and Oxegen festivals. Surely that's worth the scorn your festival-hardened mates will pour upon you?
You've got a choice of a two-person, four-person or a six-person tent; a caravan; and loads of camping equipment - everything from sleeping bags (they're new, so no wondering how much the previous user enjoyed the festival), to gas stoves, to airbeds. Prices for tents start at around £45.
So, you're thinking it all sounds a bit middle-class and pointless, aren't you? People with too much money, parents trying to be down with the kids ("Oh yeah, festivals are like, so rad") and people who're a bit scared of a tiny bit of mud? Well, take a look at podpads. They're huts with beds in, like a small, posh beach hut for a festival. They'll be all over the country at festivals including The Big Chill, Guilfest, Connect and Bestival - although if you ask me, if you're hiring a bedroom you may as well get a hotel. Also, have a look at Boutique Camping if you fancy spending your three days in a teepee or a beach hut.
Back to Tangerine Fields. You can still book for: Bestival, The Big Chill, T In The Park, Oxegen, Latitude, Connect, The Green Man Festival, Reading, Leeds, Retrofest, Wakestock, Greenbelt, End Of The Road and Bloom Festival, so if you fancy a posh festival experience, click here.
