potty.jpgThose braving the Glastonbury Festival this summer are ’to get a roll with it’ in the shape of a free recycled toilet roll. The generous offer supports Glastonbury Festival’s green policy: to reduce waste and encourage recycling.

Glastonbury honcho Michael Eavis has agreed a deal with toilet tissue makers Nouvelle and has said that the move would make the festival more environmentally friendly. “We`re encouraging people to be as green as possible at this year's festival. The definitive example of our policy is our decision to invite Nouvelle on board as an official recycling partner to the festival, to give away free recycled toilet tissue,” he said.

“They are providing hundreds of thousands of free loo rolls and our message is very simple: do not bring loo roll to the festival. There will be more than enough for everyone and, more importantly, it will be the right kind of loo roll.”

This year's event takes place from June 22-24 and there will be a record 137,000 punters with tickets selling out in less than two hours.
