"Hopsicles" - could beer on a stick be the perfect festival refreshment?

homerdrink.gifSomebody done invented the perfect festival snack. It's called a "hopsicle", and it is a lolly which contains beer.

I'll just let that sink in for a moment.

The hopsicle is not as simple as just frozen beer, though - apparently there is some kind of recipe involved. But think of it - you're out in the sun (I believe this exists in some parallel universe), you need cooling down, you need booze to make Keane / Snow Patrol remotely bearable... BEER LOLLY. BEERLOLLYBEERLOLLYBEERLOLLY.

Wouldn't you know it, though - the killjoys at the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control reckon it might be illegal snackage. This is because, apparently, beer removed from its original container needs to be poured straight into a glass or similar contai- I'm sorry, Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, but in considered response to your regulations can I just refer you to BEERLOLLYBEERLOLLYBEERLOLLY?

I mean, the newsreaders in this report seem to think it's a good idea - and they're in charge of the news. They know best.
