Missing out on Download 2007? Now you can watch every second online.

Yearning to go to this weekend’s Download Festival but lacking the time / money / means? Fear not. Rock website Metal Underground plan to broadcast a live webcast so you can enjoy every second of the action at Donington Park live from the comfort of your sofa.

Somehow the thought of watching My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park without the mud, sweat, tears and mosh pit shoving is quite appealing, particularly considering the current unpredictable weather.

Then again there is the undeniable buzz of the crowd atmosphere you can only get by being there in the flesh at a festival, plus according to a reader comment here webcasts from this site haven’t always been successful in the past.
