So many fests, so little time. If you're going to any of the below events here are some nuggets to nibble on:

- A band of British scientists will perform the first ever concert in Antarctica as part of Live Earth. It's also their first performance anywhere. 'Antarctic Monkeys', anyone?

- The Lake Stage will be a new addition to Latitude this year, and will showcase up-and-coming acts

- Guilfest, which is staged from 13th - 15th July, has released a DVD movie of last year's event, including interviews with bands and punters as well as artist performances

- In other Guilfest news, Kal Els Cape are the unsigned band who won a competition to play the festival's Ents24 stage

- If you're planning on attending Fflam you better snap your tickets up quick sharp, as they're expected to sell out
