It's pissing down outside and I'm hungover. Putting a smile on my face was going to be no easy task today. But the website of The Secret Garden Party managed it. Let me count the reasons why.

1. You can scroll around it in a 360 degree kind of way, as if you were on a roundabout in the sky or something. (I apologise for my vocabulary defects in point no.1)

2. When you do the scrolling thing, the cursor turns into a flying ladybird. Delightful. Also, funny little characters pop up. One of these is a man who is then picked up and carried off by a big crow. Glastonbury's website had a noticeable dearth of man-stealing crows.

3. It has a soundtrack of a) gently running water, b) birds tweeting, c) the odd bit of tribal drumming / laughing / guitar "shredding". I find all this to be rather soothing.

4. One of the FAQs reads "Can I bring in my own alcohol?" The answer says "we need the bar money for the festival to break even". There is something quaint about this statement which warms my cockles, even if there's the chance that it's disingenuous bullshit.

5. It is very pretty overall.

Well done, The Secret Garden Party website people.
