Christina Aguilera to duet with Aretha Franklin

christina-aguilera.jpgPop warbler Christina Aguilera and Aretha Franklin are planning a duet together. Hopefully it'll be better than Aretha's '80s duets with George Michael and Annie Lennox. According to DJ Premier, who worked on Aguilera's 'Back To Basics' album, the two are working on material together.

Premier said: "Christina got back at me because she's doing a duet with Aretha Franklin." No release date is known for the duet, but it is thought that it will feature on Franklin's forthcoming album 'Jewels In The Crown: All Star Duets With the Queen', which is set to be released later on this year, reports Hip Hop Canada. Is it going to be ear shatteringly great or brain explodingly poor? We'll have to see...
