Edwin Collins added to Electric Proms billing

edwyncollins.jpgI'm incredibly happy to announce that Edwyn Collins is the latest addition to this month's Electric Proms bill, set to play Camden's Dingwalls venue on October 28. This show will be Collins' first show in three years after suffering two cerebral haemorrhages in 2005. He underwent successful surgery and has since been on a path of rehabilitation.

His new album 'Home Again' was recorded prior to his surgery, and he will be playing material from that as well as from his back catalogue (you'll recall his smash A Girl Like You) Tickets for the gig went on sale yesterday morning (October 10) and should be snapped up! Collins joins the likes of Paul McCartney, Bloc Party and Ray Davies, at the five day festival of music.
