Will RockNess be a monster?

If you're looking for a festival trip that won't set you back a big pile of cash, RockNess might be worth a visit. This weekend bookies William Hill will dish out thousands of cameras to those attending the two day festival. They're hoping that at least a few of the 35,000 expected will take their eyes off the stage at some point and attempt to snap a picture of the most camera-shy of legends - The Loch Ness Monster. Though with onstage attractions including Groove Armada, the Chemical Brothers and The Manic Street Preachers, they’ll have a job on their hands.
If anyone manages a snap which can be proved genuine by the Natural History Museum, they’re in line for a one million pound payout – which could make RockNess even more worthy of a visit. Even sceptics have a reason to get involved – the “best real or staged evidence” will nab a grand plus a free £250 bet. Sadly though, rumours of a bonus figure if snappers time their picture to coincide with The Automatic’s performance of Monster are unfounded.
