Mamma Mia movie set to join chick-flick pantheon of girliness

Ladies, create space on your DVD shelf next to Dirty Dancing. That's right - Mamma Mia, the hugely successful stage show which uses Abba's back catalogue as the soundtrack, is coming to the big screen (don't worry, I don't think any of the above folk are in it).
Shall we count the ways in which this film is going to snare the entire (heterosexual) female population of the world (and their gay male buddies)?
1. It is a musical.
2. It is a musical containing Abba songs.
3. It stars Colin Firth.
4. AND Pierce Brosnan. Er, and Meryl Streep.
5. It is set on a Greek Island, for maximum Shirley Valentine-style girly holiday vibes.
6. It is cheaper to see a film than a West End / Broadway show.
In case you think this post is sexist - I just mentioned to a female colleague that this film is being made, and she replied "I hate musicals, but I love Mamma Mia!"
Resistance is futile.
