I Thought You Were Dead!: Paul McCartney - Ever Present Past

Didn't really think he was dead, of course. Had kind of forgotten he made music though, what with "everything else".

Macca's new single, from his album Memory Almost Full, is a pretty jaunty affair. And my, how the video reflects this. There he is, look, dancing around in his Converse and tie. And not just dancing, but choreographed dancing. Perhaps unsurprisingly - this is pop music, after all - he's not grooving away with ladies of his own age (there's an idea for a revolutionary video).

No, it's young hotties all the way. And why not? At least they seem to be dancing in a museum / art gallery, which claws back some dignity...

I'd love to see a pop video with McCartney jiggling about with a load of women his own age. In fact, I want to see Paul McCartney and Pauline Collins off Shirley Valentine do a duet. They're basically identical.
