Under The Covers - Senor Coconut takes on Kraftwerk's Tour De France

I adore Kraftwerk's steel-like soundscapes and their mechanical analogue warmth. However, I think it's fair to say they take themselves pretty seriously. Ever wondered what they'd sound like if they took some Es and moved to Cuba? Well, wonder no more as you paddle in the strange exotic world of Senor Coconut.

Senor Coconut's version of "Tour De France" sees modern electronic glitches married to Latin rhythms and xylophones. Gone are the needle-thin synths and in come the bossa nova grooves. This is, without question, one of the finest cover versions your ears will ever lay lobes on.
