Glastonbury tickets go on sale, people buy them

I believe it's customary when Glastonbury tickets go on sale for music-related websites to report the fact. Therefore I am pleased to be able to tell you that, yes, tickets for Glastonbury went on sale yesterday and yes, people are buying them, and yes, some people are annoyed with the onine booking system.

You may want to bookmark this story and read it again the next time Glastonbury tickets go on sale. I'll just be cutting and pasting it anyway.

Interestingly, though, they didn't sell out in hours - first time in a LONG time that's happened...

Systems issue? Or people just not as interested this year?

heh,

the dry humor isn't so funny this time because the tickets didn't sell out in the first 3 nanoseconds or whatever, so for once it is actually quite interesting
