It's hard to believe that the soft country pop of 'Indiana Wants Me' by R. Dean Taylor was released through Motown Records. However, the fact Taylor was behind loads of Motown hits, the whole thing gets a little clearer. Taylor's pop magic is evident in this easy on the ear ditty... so easy on the ear was it that it was a big hit in the US and in Britain, and landed a #1in Taylor's native Canada.
