Hard-Fi dub Led Zeppelin gig a "rip off" (world snorts)
Oh dear oh dear oh dear. What happens when a third division, watered-down beer indie band has a pop at one of the most important groups in history? The world hoots in derision. Thankfully, this mocking is something that Hard-Fi are quite used to by now, seeing as they're one of the most laughably awful bands in history. So what's the ruckus? Well, the drummer Steven Kemp (who?!) says he can’t believe that Led Zeppelin are charging so much for their imminent show and that they’re only doing it for the money. Will someone tell him it's a charity gig?
He told the Daily Star: "Paying over £100 for a ticket is a joke. Why should you pay so much money for it? These rock 'n' roll dinosaurs are coming out for one last pay cheque. I don't know what they are going to do on stage that's so special." Ironic that they should be crying "sell out" when you consider that this is a band that sold their songs to computer games. Working for the cash machine? You'll be working behind a cigarette counter soon bucko. [via Gigwise]
