Glastonbury Festival have revealed the facts about buying your tickets for the summer shindig. Via their offical sponsor Q Magazine (officially the squarest magazine in the entire world), tix will be upfergrabs on Sunday 6th April, with the time still to be confirmed (you'd imagine it's the usual 9am stampede though). Anyone wanting a ticket will have to pre-register their details with a photograph during February at Glastonbury's official website, to ensure that successful buyers aren't able to sell their tickets on.

Glastonbury '08 will take place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June, with 132,500 weekend tickets available, as well as 5,000 Sunday-only tickets for local-types. Why should you go? Well, people tend to trust the line-up, but strong rumours suggest that Muse, Led Zeppelin, Massive Attack, The Verve, Radiohead and folk legends Pentangle will be performing. As ever, there'll be an appearance from Bodger and Badger no doubt (I hope that mash is from organic potatoes) and the Glastonbury Town Band. [via efestivals]
