Where Have I Heard That Song Before? - Nancy Sinatra's "The End"

Nancy-Sinatra.jpgThere's an ad on the box at the minute for Vodafone called Lunchtime Liaison (how Parisian!), which features the wonderful purr of Nancy Sinatra. The featured track is called "The End" but, sadly, it isn't a weird bubblegum cover of The Doors' gloomy opus. Of course, Nancy is famed for her Lee Hazlewood-penned smash, "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'" and the strung out tension of Bang Bang from Kill Bill.

Fans of Nance will know that there is so much more to her back catalogue than "Boots" 'n' "Bang". Anyone who has heard "Lightning's Girl" will probably still be found trembling somewhere with all their hair frazzled and on-end. Aside from the many killer tracks she cut solo and with Lee Hazlewood (check out "Sand" and "Some Velvet Morning" as covered by Primal Scream), Nancy could usually be found half-naked (which is a bonus for the fancier of the female form) and, how could we forget, she had a pretty famous dad too... but let's not talk about him. Click over to hear the tune and see Nancy in various states of undress.
