MCT's three-way guitar band movie show thing: New videos from The Kooks, Guillemots and Supergrass
Hello reader. Come in. Make yourself at home. Sit down. NOT THERE. Put your feet up. Now, allow me to put a few new music videos in front of your pretty little eyes. Don't move. Tell you what, I'll just lightly apply these restraints to your wrists. There. Now, on with the show!
1. Guillemots - "Get Over It"
I wasn't overly keen on The Guillemots' first album, unlike a lot of folk. Just wasn't my cup of tea. Then there was the suspicion - possibly unique to me - that they smelled like damp dogs. Well now they've had a scrub and some haircuts, and added some electronic elements to their sound, all of which is likely to dismay parts of their fanbase. Ho hum.

2. The Kooks - "Always Where I Need To Be"
The Kooks are clearly setting their sites on the States, with this rambunctious, MTV-friendly little video featuring heavage, berets and silly rock star coats. The song has a catchy little doo-de-de-doo thing going on, and isn't a zillion miles away from their first album. If it ain't broke, etc etc.

3. Supergrass - Bad Blood
No more of this Diamond Hoo-Ha nonsense from the 'Grass, but plenty more of that reliable riffworthiness we've come to associate with them. Points of note from the video:
a) Their keyboardist is beginning to resemble Seth Green dressed as Che Guevara.
b) Drum full of popcorn. Wait until the end.
